Description
SEΛENE (pronounced “Se-lee-nee”) is named after the eponymous ancient Greek mythological figure, the Titanian goddess of the moon, who was imagined driving her chariot across the heavens.
Our founder and creative director, Manos Gerakinis, wished to pay with this fragrance an olfactive homage to the unique charm of a Greek summer evening spent in an open air cinema. There, while viewing a film under the stars, one feels caressed by a plethora of diverse aromas that magically merge into one, as if fused together by the moonlight: citrus tree blossoms and leaves, serene woods, and night-blooming jasmine from the neighbouring trees and gardens, a delicious note of praline evoking the sweet treats that are being enjoyed while watching the movie, along with a musky, sensuous cloud echoing an ideal, warm and breezy, Athenian summer night.
Made in Greece with plant based alcohol.

Christina Koutsoudaki
Christina Koutsoudaki is a Greek-born Senior Perfumer, enchanted by scents and flavours ever since she remembers herself. She started her fascinating journey into the world of fragrance 22 years ago at VIORYL S.A., the only perfume house in Greece, and is currently heading their Fragrance Creation Department. Christina has created a wide range of scents for fine fragrances, as well as personal and home care products, for customers worldwide, seeking to touch people’s emotions with her creations. While composing perfumes, she is motivated by her profound respect for ethnic and cultural diversity, and the protection of the environment. Her academic chemistry background has helped her obtain a more thorough understanding of the perfumer’s palette. She finds inspiration in all forms of art, childhood memories, walks in nature, and travelling.
Besides creating fragrances, she enjoys mentoring the next generation of perfumers and promotes the art of perfumery through her role as Council Member at the British Society of Perfumers and as a Member at the International Society of Perfumers Creators.
