Created to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Manos Gerakinis Parfums, SILLAGE X is a thoughtful, yet positively joyful olfactive reflection on the passage of time and what remains timeless. Referencing the name of our very first fragrance, Sillage Royal, and echoing classic vetiver-centered masterpieces, SILLAGE X captures the eagerness and optimism for life’s upcoming adventures through a suave, gender-fluid blend of vitalizing, rejuvenating notes. The fragrance further reflects some of the fondest scent memories of our founder and creative director, Manos Gerakinis: the kind of refined, “masculine” marketed perfumes that fascinated him as he was growing up —fragrances that many women, too, loved wearing, defying gender labels.
A blast of radiant, sun-kissed Mediterranean citruses (bergamot, lemon, mandarin) paves the way for the uplifting freshness of the vetiver, the star ingredient of SILLAGE X. A halo of stimulating, yet comforting spices (black pepper, cardamom, fennel seed) adds tonifying energy, while the soulful aura of the orris teases out the vetiver’s rooty aspect. A grounding base (cedarwood, moss, patchouli) underlines the vetiver’s earthiness, with a breezy vibe that sustains the spirit of joyousness. Finally, touches of glowing amber, sensuous leather, and skin-evoking musks add an aura of sophisticated, irresistible seductiveness.

Vasiliki Psatha
Born in Athens with roots from Sparta, Greece, Vasiliki Psatha is a perfumer with nearly 40 years of experience, leading the fragrance department of a major Greek company. Her academic background in Chemistry laid the scientific foundation for her journey into the world of fragrance. Her love for philosophy, poetry, and the splendor of nature are the main elements that fuel her creativity.
A free spirit and adventurous at heart, Vasiliki loves to travel, seeking inspiration from diverse cultures and environments. Her voyages around the globe bring a cosmopolitan touch to her fragrances, which often include woody and spicy notes. She particularly loves merging the aromas of different cultures with the innate purity of Greek nature, creating perfumes that are both sophisticated and evocative.
